just a heads up, i think you made a typo in your cookbook? you say as a 'neurotypical' person but in ur reccs page u talk abt being autistic so i was wondering if u meant to type 'neurodivergent' instead. also i think the person below might be talking about the dithering effect on the pic rather than the shadow. i love ur site btw!

yes yes you're right TY for catching that for me! i'll update to reflect what i actually meant LOL. im so bad at typing QQ... and yeah i thought that might be the case as soon as i answered waah. what a hot mess. to apply the dithering effect, i go to https://doodad.dev/dither-me-this/ and click on 6-bit RGB and then download the image ty for giving me a chance to correct this info!

hi i replied on the cbox a couple hours after u posted, sorry! i thought u saw my answer in time before i removed my cbox. anyway. i just edited the image on clip studio by adding a grey outline, shifting it to the left, and applying a gaussian blur.
